Press & Impact
In the news
When our community needed it most, Asian Focus stepped up. Here's a look at our press presence and the community impact behind the headlines.
Showing up when it mattered
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Asian Focus launched Project Unity — an effort to help our community unite and overcome a moment of real fear and isolation. Beyond celebration, our role became one of service: sharing trusted information, connecting neighbors to aid, and making sure language was never a barrier to care.
That same spirit still guides how we show up today — meeting people where they are and lifting Asian voices across North Carolina.
Community aid resources
As part of our pandemic response, we curated and shared trusted, multilingual resources so families could find reliable guidance in the language they speak at home — including "Stop the Spread of Germs" materials in Spanish, Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese.
Wake HELPS
Wake County's hub connecting residents to local assistance and support services.
FDA Multilingual Resources
Trusted COVID-19 guidance available in multiple languages from the U.S. FDA.
CDC Prevention Guidance
Clear, practical prevention guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
