Who we are

A 501(c)(3) formed to promote, sponsor and support programs that help Asian Americans and immigrants of all generations — and to build bridges across every community in North Carolina.

We help individuals and their families navigate the daily cultural and linguistic challenges of life in a new home, while fostering synergy between agencies, professionals and neighbors. Heritage is our starting point. Connection, inclusion, and shared prosperity are the larger purpose.

Four ways we build community

Culture is where we begin.
Belonging is where we go.

Year-round, Asian Focus turns cultural pride into tangible impact — in health, in civic life, and in the partnerships that hold a region together.

01

Cultural Exchange

Celebrating Asian heritage through performance, food and the arts — and inviting every community to share in it.

02

Community Health

Free screenings and counseling with leading medical partners — meeting families where they are.

03

Civic Engagement

Connecting residents with civic leaders, resources, and a stronger voice in North Carolina life.

04

Nonprofit Partnerships

Building synergy between agencies, businesses and skilled professionals for shared, lasting impact.

Community stories

The human side of the work.

Behind every statistic is a paddler, a performer, a volunteer, a family — and a region learning to celebrate together.
